Code First: Girls
We work with Code First: Girls, an initiative to get more women into the tech industry.
Our recruitment process
We’re looking for talented, like-minded people.
We take time to get to know you and give you the opportunity to get to know us.
Our process isn’t designed to trip you up or make you uncomfortable. It’s designed to make sure we want to work together.
First, we talk to you
When we want to get to know someone, we think good old-fashioned conversations are better than Facebook — sorry, Mark.
It’s a chance to share your thoughts and experiences, ask about the job, the company, the benefits, and anything else you want to know.
Next, we ask you to do something
Talking is great to find out what you’re like; working shows us what you can do. You’ll be given a test, to be completed in an agreed time frame.
We want you to impress us, but don’t try too hard.
We encourage ambition, but we also want you to get things right.
Then, we meet you
If things are going well, we’ll invite you to visit us at work. We’ll ask you about the test you took, you’ll meet a few of us, and we’ll show you around.
It takes half a day, but it’s worth the time to make sure we’re all making the right decision.
